垦青始创于1976年台湾台北，以制造拉链机器起家，前16年都致力于拉链整厂输出与设备的研发。1991年开发隐形拉链整条生产线成功，次年即转型为拉链制造。1993年于中国深圳成立宝安垦青拉链厂，专业生产隐形拉链。
1997年建立垦青越南厂，生产所有类型之拉链，
